There are a number of ways in which you can volunteer to support us in our work. Here are a few of them, but if you have an idea for yourself based on what you’ve read about us, do get in touch and put it to us.
• Support Worker – to provide support to individuals affected by substance misuse in a drop-in environment
• Groundsman/woman – to help keep our garden, grounds and baskets looking good
• Maintenance man/woman – to help keep our internal environment in working order
Volunteer applications can be made at any time.
We have a track record of developing our volunteers and moving them on in to jobs, either at Welcome or elsewhere.
We are currently looking in particular for volunteers to work in our new charity shop, due to open in Shard End at the end of August.
Charity Shop Volunteers (hours negotiable) out-of-pocket expenses paid and training offered.
You can download the role profile and person specification for the charity shop role, as well as an application form, by clicking on the links at the bottom of this page.
