Our Staff Members

My role is to lead the organisational development of Welcome to ensure its sustainability. I look after organisational policy, strategy and funding.

Welcome has three staff members who provide the SPOE (Single Point of Engagement) service, answering the phones to callers and carrying out triage assessments on those entering treatment and recovery.

We also have five Substance Misuse Practitioners working with Adults and two working with Young People.  One of our YP Practitioners specialises in supporting children affected by parental substance misuse.

We also have a Treatment & Recovery Support Worker, who specialises in running a wide variety of groups to support people on their journey through treatment and into Recovery.

Our Service Manager oversees the smooth delivery of the SIAS Contract.

Thanks to support from Children in Need, we are also currently able to employ a counsellor and an activities worker to further support children and young people affected by parental substance misuse.
