Shop team and volunteers ran a book stall in the square and sold 27 bags of books to the local community. The shop display was changed to reflect St Georges Day images.
Work is already underway on refurbishing the old community center to make way for the New Welcome Cafe! Major refurbishment work has been given the go ahead to the old Community Center next to AllSaints Church on Ownall Road, Shard End. The centre will offer a range of different services to people in the area including a new community space and cafe.
